                               WOW ! What a Meeting/Jam.

We had well over 300 people in attendance.  " Crooked Creek " put on a GREAT show for us. Max's vocals and guitar pickin' along with Matt's vocals and fiddlin' and John's banjo pickin' create a hard drivin' progressive style of bluegrass, that was met with many rounds of applause after each song. These guys just keep improving every time we have them entertain the audience for our stage show part of the meeting.

Appearing for the first time at our meeting, we had a band from Northern Indiana join us tonight. The name of the band is " Off-N-Runnin' ". They hail from Brooke, In. over to Remington, In. and a couple points in between. They were ask to be one of our fill in bands and they gladly accepted. Well, when they left the stage there was an overwhelming round of applause. They were also invited back to be our featured band in April or May. All in attendance are hoping they accept. They have a traditional style of bluegrass sound in their music.

Our other fill in band from East central Illinois put on a great show. The name of this band is " Stateline ". They were formed just a little over a year ago and have a fresh sound to our world of bluegrass music. The style of bluegrass music they play ranges from traditional to just short of progressive. Each time they take the stage they keep getting better and better.

The Jammin' was GREAT as usual. With 4 to 5 groups going all evening long. In various ends of the hallways of Meonch Hall.

Our next Meeting/Jam is scheduled for the last Saturday in February. That Date is 25 FEB 12.  " Cornfeilds and Crossroads " will be the featured band.

We hope to See Y'all there.
