Earl Scruggs

Unfortnatly the world of Bluegrass has lost another legend. Today Mr. Earl Scruggs passed at a Nashville, TN . hospital at age 88. It has been reported that Mr. Scruggs died for natral causes. He will be greatly missed. R.I.P. Earl Scrugs.

       Monthly Meeting/Jam
When: The last Saturday of each month Oct. thru May  ( Except Dec. )
                Stage Acts: 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. EST
                Jammin': Starts at least 7:00 P.M. to ?
Where:  Terre Haute, Indiana
                 Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
                 G-M Room Moench Hall.  Located straight ahead as your turn North on to campus. Parking is located on the East side of the building.
What: We will have a Featured band on stage twice with other bands in between.
              We have drawings in between bands for prizes. Tickets: 5 for $1.00.
              We have JAMMIN'. It goes on all evening and sometimes into the next morning.
Cost: Every thing is " FREE ".   Did I mention?   IT IS " FREE " !
Who: Open to ALL ages and skill levels.
So: Bring your Friends and Family and join us for a great evening of Bluegrass and Acoustic music.
     
              Plus Don't forget to bring your instruments and join in on the Jammin' !

Second Annual Indoor Bluegrass Festival Urbana, ILL


This Saturday February 25th come to the Second...

This Saturday February 25th come to the Second Annual Indoor Bluegrass Festival at the IMC, 202 South Broadway, Urbana, IL. Jamming starts at 4:30pm and concerts start at 6:30pm.
Festival will include four bands.
6:30: Grass Roots Revival
7:15: The King Family Band
8:15: The New Heir Bluegrass Band
9:15: Black Ridge Road
Jamming space will be available from 4:30-11:00 pm
Admission $10, $7 students, $25 families
Co-Sponsors include C4A, CU Folk and Roots, Americorps
